It Seems Ford Blocked Tesla’s Use Of ‘Model E’ Name To Create Its Own Line Of EVs And PHEVs

Ford gained the rights to use the name "Model E" a couple of years ago, after it successfully fought efforts by Tesla Motors to secure the moniker on what we now know as the Model 3.
