The Hakone Turnpike is billed as Japan's version of the Nürburgring.
It's not a closed track but rather a toll road (which some consider the Nordschleife to be at any rate), snaking through the mountains near Fuji and offering panoramic vistas, sweeping curves, and smooth pavement in what could very well be the finest, most famous hillclimb route in the world.
