Porsche has really pulled out their arsenal and put it in their new 4-door luxury-sports car turning it into the world’s fastest production sedan. The all new 2011 Porsche Panamera Turbo S is the epitome of what a true 4-door sports car should be sporting a 550 horsepower and up to 590 pound-feet of torque via the Sport Chrono package’s overboost feature. The new Panamera Turbo S is one of the many highlights featured at the 2011 New York Auto Show this week.
The new 2011 Porsche Panamera Turbo S is expected to hit 60mph from a standstill in just 3.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 190 mph. The Turbo S Panamera will add 20-inch wheels, new sideskirts, increased rear axle track width, bi-color leather upholstery and Agate Gray Metallic paint. The price of admission for the world’s fastest production sedan will be $173,000 when it goes on sale in the Spring of this year. So much for waiting for the new BMW M5’s performance figures later this year. Porsche has literally jumped the gun on this one in filling the spot for the fastest production sedan. Sorry Cadillac, you have been dethroned.
