Jalopnik was able to capture a couple leaked images of the upcoming SSC Ultimate Aero II supercar which is slated to take the world’s fastest production car record from the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport which holds it at 267.81 mph. At one time the SSC (Shelby Supercar) Ultimate Aero TT held the world’s fastest production car record at 256mph.
During a private ceremony in Monterey, the Ultimate Aero II was revealed. The official launch of the new Ultimate Aero II is set to be next week along with an appearance in Top Gear magazine.
The new SCC Ultimate Aero II is rumored to have a 6.8-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 1,350hp at 9,000rpm and a top speed of 275mph.
