We already know that Lamborghini make some seriously sexy cars. Thus, with the unveiling of their latest baby, the Lamborghini Huracan, the Italian car maker has kept the sexiness firmly in place.
Unveiled at the Geneva Auto Show for the first time yesterday, the Huracan (obviously) stole the spotlight from any other car trying to show off at the show. And when you see what it looks like, it’s not surprising in the least.
Lamborghini aims to push the Huracan into the Gallardo’s market. The Gallardo, which is the company’s top selling model, could very well be replaced by the Huracan in terms of sales.
Design wise, you can definitely see that the makers have drawn some inspiration from the Huracan’s sibling, the ever popular Aventador. It’s super sleek and utterly sexy and is guaranteed to make any car fan weak at the knees.
There are very clear diagonal lines that run through the entire body of the car and hexagonal shapes are present, especially in the front. In essence, the car looks sharp end edgy yet terribly sleek and sophisticated.
The Huracan features V10 engine (naturally) that can reach a top speed of 325km/h. And of course let’s not forget that Lamborghini’s latstest can go from 0-1oo km/h in just over 3 seconds. 3.2 seconds to be precise.
While main parts of the body is made from carbon fibre and aluminum, light weight materials have been used elsewhere in the car.
However, this still doesn’t make the Huracan any lighter really. The Huracan weighs 1422kg – thus making it a substantial 12kg heavier than the Gallardo. But, let’s be honest – what is 12kg now really?
All in all the Huracan is breathtakingly beautiful and there’s no doubt that it would be on many a rich man’s wish list.
