Customers with deep pockets can now place their order on Ford’s new GT, with the automaker accepting submissions for the first two years of production or 500 units.
Produced in just 250 units annually, the Ford GT continues to be shrouded in mystery, as the company is keeping its exact price a secret, though, it’s expected to cost in the neighborhood of $450,000.
“The purchase process for the Ford GT is as unique as our all-new supercar. We understand GT customers are strong ambassadors for Ford Motor Company, and we look forward to providing them a service as distinct as the car itself”, said the Ford Performance Global Marketing Manager, Henry Ford III.
Those looking into the supercar can submit their applications at FordGT.com where they can choose from eight exterior colors paired to one of seven different stripe colors. Under the aerodynamic carbon fiber body is a mid-mounted 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, producing over 600 horsepower.
