Just a couple of weeks after premiering at the LA Auto Show, the 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Convertible has been filmed up close while driving in the U.S.
This particular clip was filmed in Bowling Green and shows the dark blue pre-production ZR1 Convertible testing on the I-65. Sitting behind the wheel was Corvette product marketing manager Harlan Charles.
Sales of the ZR1 Convertible, as well as the Coupe, will commence next Spring. In the meantime, Chevrolet will put the final touches on the supercar, ensuring that it is capable of competing with the industry’s finest.
Sitting under the hood of the ZR1 is a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine delivering 755 hp and 715 lb-ft of torque. Chevrolet says the car will hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in under 3 seconds, complete the quarter mile in the high 10-second range, and sprint to over 210 mph (337 km/h).
Prices for the ZR1 Convertible start at $123,995 while the new ZR1 Coupe is slightly cheaper at $119,950.
