Just before the Detroit Auto Show Chrysler has officially revealed the new upcoming 2011 Chrysler 300. I am sure they just could not wait for this one to hit the internet waves especially ever since Autoblog was so generous in posting undisguised spy shots of the new 300 revealing precisely what we see here in the Chrysler press photos.
The new Chrysler 300 continues a tradition set by the introduction of the 300 just over 5 years ago built off of the Benz E-Class platform. Now with even more luxury appointments available to the consumer, the 2011 300 offers specialties such as a dual-pane sunroof and climate controlled seats. Engine choices for the 2011 300 will be the new Pentastar V6 producing 292 horsepower and 260 foot-pounds of torque for the entry level. From there will be a new 360 horsepower and 390 foot-pounds of torque 5.7-liter HEMI V8 featuring Chrysler’s new Fuel Saver Technology that shuts down cylinders under light loads to conserve fuel.
The new 2011 Chrysler 300 will be showcased in person at the upcoming Detroit Auto Show January 10, 2011.
