After recently increasing their car deliveries, SsangYong UK is now offering a “half price upgrade” to customers looking to choose the next model up in the range before the June 30th promo expiration date.

In order to save up to £1,250, customers will have to order one of the following Turismo versions, specifically the EX, EX auto or the ELX auto, where the latter would ultimately save you the most money.

The EX upgrade includes alloy wheels, leather upholstery, heated seats and privacy glass over the SE model, resulting in a ‘half price upgrade’ of £1,000. The EX auto on the other hand adds the new 7-speed Mercedes-Benz automatic transmission for a ‘half price upgrade’ of £750 over the EX manual.

As for the ELX auto, you’re looking at 17″ alloys, 4×4, solar glass and automatic windscreen wipers, all for the maximum £1,250 ‘half price upgrade’.

Powered by a 2.2-liter Euro 6 diesel engine, the SsangYong Turismo now offers both a 6-speed manual transmission as well as the previously mentioned new Mercedes-Benz 7-speed gearbox. Unlike the SE and EX models, the top of the range ELX comes with selectable 4×4 with low ratio as standard, though all Turismo models have a 2 tonne towing capacity.
