With a brand new design and logo Skoda is set to bring a revolution with its new concept car to be debuted at Geneva. Skoda has sky-high self-confidence after the German group achieved its best sales in 2010 and plans to double those figures by 2018.
The new concept car to be unleashed at the Geneva Motor Show will represent Skoda’s new design thoughts. The new tweaked logo will be featured on all Skoda models from 2012.
The current winged arrow logo is distinctively colored and sharper. The refreshed emblem will be stamped across all dealers and networks and communications.
Skoda is commemorating 110 years in motor sports in 2011 and as part of celebrating this milestone, Skoda will premiere the Fabia Monte Carlo, a special-edition model with a sports-tuned chassis, a dynamic look including black accessories, a sports interior and 16 inch lightweight alloys.
The automaker’s 110th year in motor sports coincided with the 100th Monte Carlo race in January which, Freddy Loix driving a Fabia Super 2000 finished second.
No technical specs have been leaked, but rest assured that this Skoda’s mystery concept car will sure grab attention. Skoda Auto’s stand reflects its new corporate design and is situated in Hall 2 of the Palexpo exhibition centre in Geneva.
