Ok, Red Bull. We get it. You’re cars are fast and your drivers can handle them (very) well.
Red Bull recently sent a couple of their ‘drift masters’ to the Tianmanshan Mountains in Northern China to showcase their amazing drifting abilities up high.
The mountain pass, which has exatly 99 corners, posed quite the challenge for the Red Bull drivers, as they not only had to battle sharp turns, but also great heights! This one was definitely not for those afraid of heights!
Red Bull China’s Hong Kong based driver, James Tang, went up against Italian Frederico Sceriffo, the Official Team Orange Japan driver. Both men tried their best to conquer the fearsome mountain range and it’s 99 turns.
It was to be the Italian who took the title – with a top speed of 170km/h and a score of 96.5 out of 100, Sceriffo promptly earned himself the title of “Tianmenshan Mountain Drift King”.
Check out the video below, it will definitely have you on the edge of your seat!
