Five million fans on Facebook is definitely cause to celebrate – and that is exactly what Porsche did.
They have just unveiled a special 911 Carrera 4S which was designed with crowd-sourced input. It is Porsche’s special way of thanking their Facebook fans, and boy were they pleased!
This fan-inspired 911 features Aquablaumetallic paint from Porsche Exclusive, beautiful, contrasting 20-inch white Carrera S wheels and pinstriping. That fact that the car is blue and white could also be a homage to the social network that garnered them 5 million fans.
It also has an aero package which includes a fixed rear wing. The interior features unique backlit sill plates and a dashboard engraving thats reads: “Personally Built by 5 Million Porsche Fans”
And the biggest reason the 5 million fans are going crazy? Porsche is holding a contest to win the chance to drive the car at Britain’s Silverstone racetrack, along with a friend. Also, nine runners-up will win a 1:43 scale model of this specific 911.

This is not the first time the German-based company has done something like this. They have celebrated their first million “likes” as well as two million “likes” in a similar way.
For their 1 million like thank you, they produced a signature-laden 911 GT3-R Hybrid Porsche and for the two million, a Cayman S plastered with fans’ faces was made.
With the way things are going, we can’t wait to see what they come up with when they hit 10 million “likes”!
