New Skoda Fabia Limited Edition Looks RS Good Without Actually Being One

It may not be a new RS, but Skoda’s latest Fabia Limited Edition is one of the better looking models in the sub-compact’s lineup.

Created as a celebration of the company’s most successful year ever in motorsport with the Fabia R5, which is the WRC2’s big winner, it’s coming to 21 markets from February, 2018, in 1,300 examples.

It utilizes a 1.4-liter TSI petrol engine with 125PS (123hp), married to a seven-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission. The automaker claims that 0-100km/h (62mph) takes a respectable 8.8sec, and top speed stands at 203km/h (126mph).

Based on the Monte Carlo grade, this version of the Skoda Fabia is finished in Candy White, with a contrasting black roof and ‘WRC2 2017 champion’ label, and rides on 17-inch Savio alloy wheels, available in three color variants: bright green as seen here, white, and black.

It also gets sports suspension with adaptive shockabsorbers for a lower ground clearance and enhanced cornering abilities, and a throatier exhaust system.

No images of the interior have been released so far, but Skoda says that the special Fabia gets new exclusive sports seats and sporty steering wheel. Amundsen navigation system, automatic climate control, heated front seats, reversing camera, rear parking sensors, automatic headlights and wipers, adaptive cruise control, and keyless entry&go are also part of the standard gear.
