In 1963 Don Minkoff bought this 1960 Mercedes 220SE for his wife on their 10th wedding anniversary. He blindfolded her, sat her in the front seat, and said “Honey, I bought you a station wagon.”
Just by the smell of the leather and the feel of the seats, Mrs Minkoff new that this certainly was no station wagon. The 1960 Mercedes was one in a collection that Don first began owning and driving in the late 1950′s.
