A 1938 Bugatti 57SC Atlantic has won the title of ‘Best of Show’ at the 2013 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in Lake Como, Italy.

The luxury classic, of which only three were built is owned by world renowned fashion designer Ralph Lauren and was awarded the prestigious title by Concorso jury members and the public.

Lauren is the owner of one of the world’s most valuable collections of over 60 cars and this particular one has been valued up to an estimated $40 million.

Before receiving the award the designer said, “I acquired the car in 1988, and it has always been a favorite of mine. It has won many honors over the years, and I am proud to show it here.”

At the event, The Alfa Romeo Disco Volante by Touring was awarded ‘Best Concept Car’.
