2017 Acura NSX With Custom Exhaust Runs The 1/4 Mile In 11 Seconds

Unlike the Tesla Model S, Challenger Hellcat or McLaren 720S, we haven’t seen the 2017 Acura NSX doing a lot of quarter-mile runs.

Some might say the reason is that it doesn’t have a monstrous amount of power, with a reasonable 581 PS (573 HP) and 686 Nm (506 lb-ft) of torque at its disposal. Well, reasonable for a modern supercar, that is.

Then again, it has been known to demolish the likes of the Lamborghini Aventador and Nissan GT-R in a straight line, so the new NSX is anything but slow.

In this particular case, we’ve got a mostly stock version that’s been fitted with a Fabspeed exhaust system, which definitely makes its presence felt (or rather heard), as it sounds a little more aggressive than usual.

We already knew the NSX could get from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in about 3 seconds flat. However, if you let it go a while longer, it will cover a 1/4 mile in just over 11 seconds and hitting a speed of 124 mph (200 km/h). Not bad at all, is it?
