Enthusiastic Crowd Welcomes Pair Of Bugatti Veyrons In Monaco

Motoring enthusiasts can’t get enough of the Bugatti Veyron, even if its successor, the Chiron, has been out for almost two years now (how time flies, right?).

From the ‘regular’ model, which lives with ‘only’ 1,001hp, to the former record-breaker Super Sport and its 1,200hp, the Veyron continues to cause a mayhem wherever it arrives.

This applies to Monaco as well, where hypercars feel right at home at all times, but bystanders were very excited to see a pair of Veyrons cruising the streets of the Principality, even if they didn’t rev their W16 quad-turbo’d hearts out.

Ever since the newer and faster Chiron arrived, the Bugatti Veyron has become a bit more affordable. Still, you should get ready to spend a huge amount for a used example, as these usually retail from around $1.4 million, while barely-driven examples can break the $2 million barrier.

Buying a Super Sport, which was made in just 45 units, could turn out to be even trickier, as these rarely get listed for sale, but when they do, they change hands for in excess of $2.2 million, with some even breaking the $3 million barrier.
