Visiting Germany? Check Out Brabus’ New Flagship Showroom In Düsseldorf

Automotive enthusiasts have lots to do and see in Germany: blast down the autobahn, muscle around the Nürburgring, tour the automakers’ factories and museums. Now we can add one more to the list: visit the new Brabus showroom.

In fact 10,000 people have already done just that – not in the past year, or even the past month, but in the past eleven days.

That’s how long it took to welcome the 10,000th visitor to KÖ90, the new flagship store opened jointly by Brabus and British yachtbuilder Sunseeker at Königsalle 90 in Düsseldorf, just 30 miles from Brabus headquarters in nearby Bottrop.

Spread over 4,300 square feet at the southern end of the city’s swankiest boulevard, KÖ90 showcases a array of Brabus-tuned contemporary Benzes and comprehensively restored classics – everything from a vintage SL to a new 650-horsepower S-Class convertible, from a customized Smart to a luxed-out Sprinter. There aren’t any yachts docked inside, but prospective customers can explore the range of possibilities with a sales consultant on site.

The 10,000th visitor, Cathrin Hennemann from the Lower Rhine region, was welcomed by Brabus CEO & founder Bodo Buschmann with a glass of champagne and a VIP tour. She visited on Saturday, December 23 – just 11 days after the location opened on December 12.

To put that number into perspective, consider that Ferrari welcomed a record 500,000 visitors between its two museums in Maranello and Modena this year – which works out to a little over 7,500 per day, per museum. And those are entire museums, run by one of the most recognized brands in the world, right in the heart of Supercar Valley. This is a dealership, run by a tuner, in Europe’s 39th (Germany’s 7th) biggest city.

It must be worth seeing in person then. But if you can’t make it to Düsseldorf, Brabus has similar locations in LA, Miami, London, Moscow, Dubai, Beijing, Shanghai, and Tokyo.
