Avis wins Top Brand Award for 10th Consecutive Year

The popular car hiring company has won the Business to Business Award in the Car Hire category for the 10th year in a row.

The award is yet another testament to Avis’ recognizable brand and the trustworthiness of their service.

Avis continues to shine in the Sunday Times Top Brands 2013 Awards, taking home the Business to Business award in the Car Hire Category for the 10th consecutive year.  Avis was also nominated in the B2B Company Most Spontaneously Aware Category – a category where respondents were asked which car rental companies they knew or had heard of, ascertaining which brands are at the top of consumers’ minds. This was done to tie up with groundbreaking research done by Jannie Hofmeyer from TNS, which states that the strongest brands are the ones that first pop into consumers’ minds when thinking about a specific purchase.

This has been accomplished amidst an industry characterised by increasing competitiveness in the marketplace and continually shifting customer needs.

This honour is a direct result of the commitment and on-going dedication from Avis to continually give its customers a memorable customer experience. The Top Brands Award is one of the most notable brand awards in the country. Recipients are chosen by the customer, with research methodology conducted by TNS Research Surveys amongst 3500 consumers in metro and non-metro areas. A separate survey is also conducted amongst 400 business leaders with respect to categories relating to business needs and services
