Jacksonville Grand-Prix – Benefiting Spina Bifida – April 2, 2011

We have the opportunity to help support The Jacksonville Grand Prix Benefiting Spina Bifida. This event is a six-hour karting event that benefits Jacksonville children with spina bifida. This year marks the 9th annual Jacksonville Grand Prix, held Saturday, April 2nd, 2011.

The mission for the fund raiser is to ultimately raise funds for Spina Bifida of Jacksonville (SBJ), a local charity that helps enhance the lives of children and families affected by spina bifida. Spina Bifida of Jacksonville (SBJ) provides desperately needed education and awareness about the effects, treatments and conditions associated with Spina Bifida (what is Spina Bifida?). More importantly, SBJ offers direct help to families in our community through information, referrals, research, education, vocational development and more.

We welcome any local car enthusiasts to join us in supporting this wonderful event. There will be a six-hour karting event allowing teams of 4-6 drivers to compete in go karts that are identical in weight, size, shape and power. This is something you won’t want to miss and the best part of it all, proceeds will go to the Spina Bifida of Jacksonville organization!
