Our Sunday was relaxed while watching the conclusion of the Rolex 24 Hour Race – but not after making a quick drive in a local American Lung Association for the Fight for Air Climb Rally hosted by River City Events (Facebook page). Our Rally consisted of just a few exotic vehicles making a quick run from Southside Blvd. in Jacksonville, FL all the way to Amelia Island ending at the Ritz Carlton.

A few of us car enthusiasts met up early in the morning to contribute to the American Lung Association for the Fight for Air Climb and then set off on a nice Sunday morning drive. The vehicles consisted of a Ferrari 599, Lamborghini Gallardo, Maserati GranTurismo Coupe, and our very own 2014 Corvette Stingray test vehicle.

We were ecstatic to have our Corvette Stingray run alongside of other exotic vehicles while at the same time we were delighted to give back to the American Lung Association.

We look forward to other charity events in the future in our local Florida area. If you have an idea or would like to let us know of any similar local events, please let us know by dropping an email to info@automotiveaddicts.com.

What is being touted as the most powerful Ferrari ever and 599 successor, is in the works. To prove how nicely things are coming along, Ferrari has released an official teaser video of the newest prancing horse. Due to take is bow on February 29th, the new Ferrari 620 GT ushers in a new era of V12 powered exotic sports cars.

Supposedly, this new Ferrari will be named the 620 GT powered by a 6.3-liter V12 engine making about 700 horsepower. Power will be directed through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. As you will hear in the exclusive teaser video below, the sound is simply intoxicating as is just about every other Ferrari.

We are thrilled to bring to you some spy pictures of the evolving hybrid form of the Ferrari 599 successor. Going by the images, we guess the test vehicle sports what looks like a redesigned hood of the 599 GTO body.

There is no likelihood that the production model could look similar to the prototype snapped up on spy camera. We tend to think the alternative body is just a cover up to the design of the car’s aluminum monocoque chassis, supposedly derived from the Ferrari FF.

If you remember, the car was said to be the F152 earlier and will come with a 6.3-liter V12 engine of approximately 700 hp (522 kW / 710 PS). It has been reported that power will be send evenly to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Expectations are that the car could come in for real by late 2012 or early 2013. Watch this space for more details.

It seems Ferrari 599 successor will not be just a face-lifted version of 599. Such has been the success of the Ferrari Four (FF) concept and reports indicate that the company will now come up with an all-new car replacing the 599 by late 2012.

Obviously inspired by the FF concept, the model will ride on an aluminum chassis and has a multi-link rear suspension in order to improve ride quality. Besides, it is expected to adopt composite body panels to reduce weight. The rear-axle e-diff at the rear enables the engineers to tune the handling for agility or stability further.

Powered by a 6.3-liter V12 engine that produces 700 hp (522 kW / 710 PS), Ferrari 599 successor will be connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. It allows the rear-wheels to receive power through an electronically locking rear differential.

The new model will also offer direct fuel injection to beat the present 599′s performance while offering substantial fuel economy gains. Gearing up for an all-new Ferrari 599?

The fastest prancing horse to come out of Maranello is a beautiful sight. The Ferrari 599 GTO will be priced close to a half a million dollars sporting a 661hp 6.0-liter V12 in a light-weight 3,296 pound package. New images have been released of this beast and I did not want to miss the opportunity to share them with you. Enjoy!
