Widebody Kit And Huge Alloys Make The Challenger SRT Look Even More Macho 2

We have nothing against the stock alloys with which Dodge fits its Challenger, in all its various iterations. But a vehicle with that much presence on the street is just begging for a wheel swap.

That’s just what Forgiato did to this silver example, fitting it with a set of its forged Appuntito-ECL rims in silver with cobalt-blue trim.

The deep-dish alloys do an excellent job of showcasing the SRT’s big vented Brembo brakes with their red calipers and are coated in a thin layer of Pirelli P Zero Nero rubber. While we can’t quite make out just how big these particular units are, they come in sizes ranging from 19 inches all the way up to 26 – and they look a fair bit bigger than the stock 20-inchers.

Now, this appears to be a “regular” Challenger SRT, which comes standard these days with 485 horsepower – not the 707-horse Hellcat or the 840-hp Demon. But it certainly looks the business thanks to the aftermarket widebody kit it’s wearing, which is perfect for keeping those big rollers inside the fenders.

Pink Lamborghini Aventador Turns Heads In Tokyo 21
Nov
Posted by Carscoops Staff in Forgiato, japan, Lamborghini, Lamborghini Aventador on 11 21st, 2017

We’re not quite sure what to make of it, but there seems to be a proliferation of pink Aventadors lately, as we’ve seen quite a few of them in the past few months alone.

Now, here’s another example painted in the same color: an LP720-4 50th Anniversary model, its output bridging the gap between the base LP700-4 and the LP750-4 SuperVeloce (or the revised LP740-4 S). It’s also riding on a set of Forgiato‘s S202 wheels, with black rims and pink spokes and hubs to match the lipstick paintjob.

This example was spotted in Tokyo. Japan is one of the largest markets for high-end automobiles in the world, and Lamborghini even made a special version for it.

That limited edition Raging Bull didn’t come in pink, though – which we believe is a good thing. But variety, they say, is the spice of life. And while it may not be to everyone’s taste, a pink Lambo is certainly spicy.

Lexus LC500 Looks Even More Futuristic On 24-Inch Forgiato Alloys 19
Nov
Posted by Carscoops Staff in Forgiato, LEXUS, Lexus LC, tuning on 11 19th, 2017

The Lexus LC500 represents the very cutting edge of the Japanese automaker’s design ethos, looking like something out of the future. But the wheels may not be to everyone’s liking.

Enter the folks at Forgiato, who outfitted one such pearl-white coupe with a new set of their Tecnica Tec 3.3 alloys.

They’re massive 24-inch units, with brushed spokes and polished rims, and they’ve been shod with low-profile Pirelli P Zero Nero all-season rubber.

The turbine-style wheels cut a rather different profile than the stock units and give the sleek Lexus an altogether different look. The storm-trooper look of the white bodywork and all that black glass doesn’t do anything to burst that futuristic bubble, either.

The owner has apparently removed the model-designation nameplate off the back, but we’re told this is a conventionally powered LC500, with the old-school 5.0-liter V8 rated at 471 horsepower. And we dig it. But for a more forward-looking propulsion unit that’s perhaps better matched to the futuristic design, Lexus also offers the LC500h with a 3.5-liter hybrid V6.

Matte Grey Audi RS5 Is A Smooth Criminal 19
Nov
Posted by Brad Anderson in audi, Audi RS5, Forgiato, tuning, Wheels on 11 19th, 2017

The new Audi RS5 may not be as well-rounded as the Mercedes-AMG C63 S, but it does have stellar looks, particularly compared to the relatively benign C63 and M3.

So, when an RS5 owner in the U.S. decided to equip the car with a set of Forgiato Wheels, the results were always going to be eye-catching.

The aftermarket wheel manufacturer fitted the sports coupe with a set of lightweight Tec 2.5 wheels, complete with matte black spokes and candy apple red inners. Working in conjunction with the matte grey paint of the car, the wheels help to create one of the most eye-catching RS5s you’re every likely to come across.

As a reminder, the new 2017 Audi RS5 is powered by a twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 delivering 444 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque, resulting in a 0-62 mph (100 km/h) time of 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h) as standard or 174 mph (280 km/h) with the optional RS dynamic package.

2018 Ford Mustang Likes Its Wheels And Fenders Wide 17
Nov
Posted by Sergiu Tudose in Ford, Ford Mustang, Forgiato, tuning, Wheels on 11 17th, 2017

While we’ve seen plenty of wide-body kits for the sixth-generation Mustang, the facelifted model has yet to make the rounds properly.

What we like about this particular Mustang is the smooth aggressiveness. It doesn’t necessarily beg for your attention thanks to the dark theme, though to be fair, those 20″ wheels are really hard to miss.

Those rims are called Appuntito-ECL and are manufactured by Forgiato. You can get them in multiple sizes, from 19″ through 22″, as well as 24″ and 26″.

Inside, we can spot a pair of racing seats and a roll cage, which in turn lets us know this car means business and it’s not just all show and no go.

As for the kit, if you compare it to that widebody Shelby Super Snake concept unveiled earlier this year, you might find that the fenders on this car are slightly wider, we’re talking almost Liberty Walk levels of width here.

Murdered-Out Rolls-Royce Wraith Keeps The Party On The Inside 11
Nov
Posted by Carscoops Staff in Forgiato, Rolls Royce Wraith, Rolls-Royce, tuning on 11 11th, 2017

Rolls-Royces typically leave the factory with more bling than the Player’s Ball. This one, however, takes a decidedly different approach.

The Wraith you see before you has been all murdered out in black. The bodywork, trim, grille, hood ornament… everything’s been blacked out.

Inside it’s another story, though: the cabin is trimmed out in bright orange leather, with the starlight headliner and piano-lacquer trim.

Plus as it looks, though, we can’t help but wonder what the upsized rolling stock has done to the plushy ride for which a Rolls is known. Forgiato fitted a set of its Tec 3.1 wheels, installed here in massive 24-inch diameter, with those self-centering hubs and ultra-low-profile Pirelli P Zero Nero rubber. Like the rest of the exterior treatment, though, they’re blacked out, too.

New Porsche Panamera Shows Off Widebody Kit And 22″ Wheels 10
Nov
Posted by Sergiu Tudose in Forgiato, porsche, Porsche Panamera, Techart, tuning, Wheels on 11 10th, 2017

To some people, buying an expensive car and not fitting it with a really aggressive widebody kit and large wheels, is the equivalent of being a Power Ranger and not calling upon the Megazord. In other words, it just wouldn’t be as cool.

This Panamera is wearing a TechArt GT aero kit, which adds new front and rear aprons, an integrated splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser and a large rear wing that’s fixed into place.

The standard TechArt GT also comes with black 22″ Formula IV alloys, however this one is wearing a set of dual-tone 22″ Forgiato wheels, which feature a more complex design.

Based on the stickers found on the windshield and C-pillar windows, it was put together by RDBL, and we have to say, this car certainly looks a lot more aggressive than the stock Panamera – which we imagine is what the owner was going for.

While we can’t see the interior, we know that TechArt offers fine leather and Alcantara options, as well as laquered or carbon-refined surfaces. There’s also a smaller TechArt Type-7 steering wheel available, for those who prefer a more sporty-themed experience.

Altogether, the TechArt GT kit makes the 2017 Porsche Panamera wider by approximately 80 mm (3.1 in), which may not sound like much, yet it’s definitely noticeable from all angles.

Bugatti Chiron On Aftermarket Wheels Isn’t Something You See Every Day 5
Nov
Posted by Carscoops Staff in Bugatti, Bugatti Chiron, Forgiato, tuning on 11 5th, 2017

There are some cars you expect to see wearing aftermarket wheels: Ford Mustangs, Toyota 86s, Honda Civics… even Bimmers and Benzes. But a Bugatti?

Most owners might be inclined to trust that the factory has chosen the best rims to channel all 1,500 horsepower from the Chiron’s 8.0-liter quad-turbo W16 engine to the tarmac. But this owner evidently did not. So he (or she) fitted a set of Forgiato Tecnica alloys to his (or her) Alsatian hypercar.

We don’t know what size they are, but if owner and outfitter were smart about it, they will have stuck with the exact same dimensions as the stock rollers –11×20 inches up front, 14×21 at the back – if for no other reason than to ensure they can still wear the same tires. Those Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires were custom-made for the Chiron to withstand its immense capabilities… or at least do a better job of it than any other set of rubber could.

Measurements aside, these Forgiato Tecnica Tec 2.4 modular alloys were done up with brushed spokes and black rims to compliment the vehicle’s exterior treatment. They look pretty good to our eyes, but the novelty here is that the sight of a Bugatti on aftermarket wheels isn’t something you see every day. But then seeing a Bugatti on any wheels doesn’t happen every day (for most of us at least).

Good things, they say, come in threes. The less-than-good things, it seems, come in twos. In this case we're referring to pink Lamborghini Aventadors, the second of which has popped up on our radars this month.
