Does The Liberty Walk Treatment Work On The Lexus LC 500? 28

Everyone was astounded when Lexus revealed the production version of its LC coupe, as it was almost identical to the impressive LF-LC concept that was on display at the 2012 NAIAS .

Now, messing around with such a design is quite tricky, but Liberty Walk gave it a shot anyway. Available for both the LC 500 and LC 500h, the flashy body kit is made from either FRP or CFRP and costs between $13,380 and $19,440 outside Japan.

So what does this get you? Well, for starters, those massive bolt-on fenders that have become the tuner’s signature, alongside a front lip, side skirt add-ons, aggressively styled rear diffuser and a boot lid-mounted wing.

The special exterior graphics, together with the new tailpipes, contribute to the car’s updated stance. Moreover, Liberty Walk can also fit your Lexus LC 500/LC 500h with various aftermarket rims, including the ones seen here, and an air suspension that adds $7,900 to the overall cost.

There’s no doubt that these updates have definitely transformed the way the LC looks, but is it for the better or worse? Let us know what you think in the comments section.

Liberty Walk Acura NSX Is A Hit With Pedestrians In Las Vegas 6

There may be a greater range of supercars on the market than ever before, but that doesn’t mean the allure of exotics has faded in recent times. In fact, the complete opposite is true.

As supercar owners continually try to out-do one another, the world of aftermarket tuning has exploded, particularly for vehicles that cost as much as a house. Of all the tuners, few are better known for wild creations than Liberty Walk.

Eager to see how the public reacts to an Acura NSX outfitted with a Liberty Walk widebody kit and towering rear wing, the Japanese tuner took to the streets of Las Vegas to capture the expressions of locals and visitors in the party city.

In standard guise, the new NSX is quite a head-turner. However, this Liberty Walk example takes things to entirely new extremes.

Sadly, it seems evident that driveability has been sacrificed in favor of aesthetics.

Liberty Walk’s Audi R8 Spyder PURRs With New Wheels 3

Whether you like them or detest them, it seems that Liberty Walk’s flashy upgrades are here to stay, with the latest example to receive them being an Audi R8 Spyder in Thailand.

The kit include the usual fender add-ons in addition to some front and rear modifications, and a new suspension. Apparently, the owner of this R8 Spyder wanted more, so he turned to Infinite Motorsport, a local PUR dealer, for a new set of rims.

After viewing the collection, he eventually chose the ‘Luxury Series I’ LX04, which are engineered from aerospace-grade 6061-T6 forged aluminum, in 9×19- and 12.5×20-inches size front and rear respectively. With an extended concave profile, the wheels are powder coated with a matte anthracite face and gloss anthracite lip and have a forged carbon composite center cap.

Despite gaining extra head-turning points, we’re not sure if these mods have in any way affected the performance of the Audi R8 Spyder, which needs 3.5 seconds for the 0-60 mph (96 km/h) acceleration in the 540 HP base version, and 3.2 seconds in the 601 HP Plus, both of which are powered by a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10.

What Aston’s New Vantage Could Look Like With A Liberty Walk Suit 2

We have seen how the recently unveiled 2018 Aston Martin Vantage might look like as a Volante and a Shooting Brake, but can you imagine it being fitted with something designed Liberty Walk, who specializes in OTT bodykits?

The first who gave this idea a go is Aksyonov Nikita, who designed a virtual iteration of the baby Aston Martin with a new front bumper with an adjustable apron, bolt-on fenders, and finished the entire car in a carbon-like coat.

We wouldn’t be surprised if the Japanese tuner do their thing with the new Vantage, and when they do, we will see if their mods for the actual car bear any resemblance to this rendering.

Until then, though, all that we and future owners of the British sports car can do is play around with the online configurator, which could turn out to be quite addictive.
