Cyclist Hits Unsuspecting Man Working On BMW, Cursing Ensues 20

It might not be as deadly as a car, but hitting somebody with your bicycle is still very dangerous, especially if the victim is already in a compromised position.

The man in the video was crouching down while working on an E60 BMW 5-Series, completely unaware there was an out of control cyclist heading his way.

The fact that he had his head all the way inside the wheel well seems to have resulted in some type of head injury, although it’s hard to assess if there was anything wrong with him afterwards.

He immediately started cursing out the cyclist, so be mindful of the language while playing this video.

On one hand, we can certainly understand his anger. Suddenly banging your head on your own car can’t be pleasant, especially when someone else is to blame and you’re still in somewhat of a shock. Then again, obscene language and violence (he later took his frustration out on the bicycle) aren’t appropriate either.

Do note that some people are suggesting this incident was staged, which is a possibility. We’d actually prefer it if it was genuine though, and the guy on the bike didn’t crash into that man on purpose.

Mercedes-AMG GT R-Inspired Bike Costs More Than A Dacia Sandero 10

Mercedes-AMG are celebrating their 50th anniversary with a new Rotwild R.S2 Limited Edition racing bike that pays homage to the track-focused GT R flagship.

Said to combine “the best of the racing world on four and two wheels”, including “driving dynamics, lightweight construction, design, and comfort”, it’s limited to just 50 examples, with each of them is priced at €7,109 ($8,259).

The price itself has a lot of significance, as it’s reminiscent of the lap time set by the Mercedes-AMG GT R on the Nurburgring – 7 minutes and 10.9 seconds.

However, that’s not the only key aspect here, because the bike has a hand-built frame that features many carbon fiber bits and pieces, aimed at keeping its weight down. Moreover, its specially shaped seat provides the rider with enhanced comfort on long rides, the 29-inch carbon wheels “enable strong acceleration and improved braking deceleration”, and the disk brakes, shifter, crankset, chain, speed cassette, and others, were developed by Shimano.

So, what would it be? The carbon/hell green-finished racing bike, or a new Dacia Sandero, which starts at just under €7,000 ($8,133) in Germany?

Aston Martin Creates Limited-Edition Bicycle 3
Nov
Posted by Brad Anderson in ASTON MARTIN, Bicycles on 11 3rd, 2017

Aston Martin may be busy developing a plethora of all-new vehicles, yet it has found the time to collaborate with renowned bicycle manufacturer Storck to create this, the Storck Fascernario.3 Aston Martin Edition.

Limited to just 107 units worldwide, the bicycle incorporates a carbon fiber frame that weighs just 770 g. When combined with a selection of other lightweight components, the entire thing tips the scales at mere 5.9 kg, and is remarkably strong.

Q by Aston Martin is responsible for the distinctive Argentum Nero paint which depending on the light, appears either grey, green or silver. Aston Martin says that it will soon launch a car with the same paint finish.

Speaking about the car, Aston Martin’s chief creative officer Marek Reichman said the bicycle is a culmination of the best Storck and Aston Martin have to offer.

“It was clear from the outset how the design, engineering and passion of the two brands could combine and what we’ve ended up with is a beautiful bicycle that reflects not only many of the key technical aspects of an Aston Martin, but also our ethos of excellence.”

Earlier this year, both McLaren and Bugatti launched limited edition bicycles.
