Well would you look at that. To celebrate the Lamborghini Aventador’s 50th Anniversary, German tuner, DMC, took a Lamborghini Aventador LP 720-4 Anniversario and spiced it up.

Considering there is only 100 of these special anniversary edittions available world wide, it must be of utmost importance to let yours stand out – even if it is standing out in a small crowd.

The special anniversary edition received a very special carbon fibre rear wing from the tuner’s Molto Veloce kit.

The Anniversario boasts an upgraded 6.5 litre, V12 engine, with an added 20 horsepower on tap.

Nicki Minaj gets a Pink Lamborghini Aventador 1
Posted by CarBlog Staff in Autostyle, Aventador, Lamborghini, Modified car Talk, Popular, Super car news on 10 1st, 2013

If you don’t know who Nicki Minaj is, then you might be living under a rock. But nevertheless, here is some background information on the bootylicious rapper.

Nicki Minaj is a female rapper that loves tight clothes, bright colours, hair extensions and, above all else, pink. Her debut album was even entitled ‘Pink Friday’.

So, also taking into consideration that Nicki loves fast cars, it should come as no surprise that the rapper recently bought a Lamborghini Aventador Cambrio – and decided to spray paint it Barbie Pink.

The original colour of her Aventador Roadster was a understated, ‘Blue Hera’ colour. But, just as Miss Minaj’s personality and sense of style, the Blue Hera was soon swopped for a loud and proud Barbie Pink. And by Barbie Pink we mean REALLY pink.

We’re not too sure about the colour, but we are sure thats she will definitely get noticed cruising down Hollywood Boulevard.

Would you drive a Barbie pink Lambo?

Lamborghini Aventador made from Paper 9

Paper LA

Many us can only dream of owning a Lamborghini one day – never mind a top of the range Aventador!

But, for one man, he would go to any length to make his dream of owning a Lamborghini Aventador a reality – even if it means he’s not exactly getting the ‘real’ thing…

Taras Lesko decided that he will, in fact, own a Lamborghini super car even if he has to build it himself. And build he did! The only exception? His medium was different than what you’d expect. No steel or metals, but… paper!

Lesko’s attention to detail whilst building his dream car is second to none. if you didn’t know that this supercar was built from paper, you’d never guess it wasn’t the real deal.

It is almost 2 and a half meters in length, which is quite big for a paper sculpture!

The exterior of the car is game inspired. It features the exact “Need for Speed” police car paint – also amazingly done.

Fortunately, Lesko made a stop-motion video that captures the whole building process (and don’t worry, it’s sped up so you don’t have to sit through hours of paper folding)

What an amazing talent this man has – can I ask him to fold me a Bugatti?

Posted by Kelly Levinsohn in Aventador, Lamborghini, Modified car Talk, Oakley Design, Popular on 06 19th, 2013

If there has ever been a competition for the sleekest and sexiest Lamborghini Aventador, then this Matte Gold one would take the cake.

4WheelsofLux recently spotted a Matte Gold with black contrast Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 by Oakley Design and Refined Marques in Dubai.

This strikingly beautiful Aventador was rolling on a set of ADV5.1 SL rims from ADV.1 wheels – also adding to the look of the supercar.

Check out the gallery of this sophisticated ride below:

It’s believed that this Lamborghini Aventador has not undergone the engine upgrades found on the Lamborghini Aventador LP760-4 Dragon Edition – also by  by Oakley Design and Refined Marques.

The reason being that  it doesn’t feature the HRE wheels of that model and neither its more aggressive rear diffuser.

4WheelsofLux managed to capture the golden glory on camera:

This is definitely one super sexy supercar!

Lamborghini Lines Up the Future 18
Posted by Alex Ion in Automotive News, Aventador, Estoque, Lamborghini on 03 18th, 2011

Lamborghini has lined up plans for the launch of a splendid set of vehicles in the coming years. Apart from LP700-4 Aventador, unveiled in Geneva this year, the manufacturer will be launching one more car this year, LP550-2 Spyder.

As for the next year, the company plans to launch the LP700-4 Spyder. Another vehicle slated for the year is Sesto Elemento, which is a limited production version of the lightweight concept (of 999 kilograms that is 2,202 lbs).

In 2013 the Gallardo replacement will be unveiled which will be called the Cabrera. 2014 will see the Cabrera Spyder and the Estoque four-door sedan. In 2015, the LP750 Super Veloce will be revealed, which is also a limited edition.

The Estoque convertible concept is rumored to be unveiled at an unnamed auto show in the same year.

The other plans thereafter include the facelift version of Aventador coupe and Spyder in 2016, production of Estoque convertible and the Cabrera Superleggera in 2017, facelift edition of a Cabrera in 2018, a limited edition LP700 Jota coming in 2019, an Estoque facelift in 2020, and an Aventador replacement in 2021.

Lamborghini Aventador: The Fighting Bull Stands Still and Roars (Video) 11
Posted by Alex Ion in Automotive News, Aventador, Bull, Lamborghini, Spanish, Super car news, tarmac, torero, Videos on 03 11th, 2011

Gosh! Look what we have found. This little clip has the high-revving Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 in all its fury. We are more than amazed at the way the car just sits on the tarmac and screams rather than shred it to bits.

The white Aventador is given a warm up it seems. But the exhaust note gives us the feel that it is somewhat suppressed – may be due to the mono recording source or the dual mode exhaust system set to sound minimal or may be the cold start which might have restricted the engine from spinning hard down to the red line (5000 rpm as to 8000rpm). Even though the car isn’t covered much in the video, the vibrantly colored instrument console is.

So for those of you who didn’t know as yet, the Aventador has a 6.5 liter engine with 12 cylinders arranged in V producing 700horsepower. The 0-60mph sprint takes just 2.9 seconds.

Aventador has been named after the Spanish fighting bull that bore the number 32 on his hide. The bull had come from the breeding stables of the sons of Don Celestino Cuadri Vides. Aventador gained fame in 1993 in the town of Zaragoza, Spain after a notably spirited, bloody and violent battle with the torero.
