The M6XR Twin Turbo based on the BMW X6 M has been announced by Manhart Racing.  In standard form, the SUV’s 4.4-liter twin turbo V8 engine develops a tremendous 555 PS (408 kW / 547 bhp) and 500 lb-ft (678 Nm).  The vehicle has a top speed of 275 km/h (170 mph).

Bavarian engine constructor Günther Manhart has overhauled the engine electronics including DME control and new calibrations for the new stainless steel exhaust system with four 90 mm tailpipes and two 200-cell HJS racing catalytic converters.

Power has increased to 687 PS, and with the vehicle weighing in at 2380 kg (5247 lbs), this makes the power to weight ratio f 3.4 kg per hp. This helps the Manhart M6XR get to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds and a top speed of 319 km/h (198 mph). Four Manhart RS sports rims 11J x 23 fitted with 315/25 ZR23 tires have been incorporated.

The chassis lowers the centre of gravity by approximately 30 mm and has been manufactured by Manhart. Braking has been upgraded to 395 mm discs and six-piston calipers at the front, and 375 mm discs with four-piston calipers at the rear.

Users can go for the full-leather interior option that has an Alcantara roof and door linings, to go with the characteristically clinical interior of the X6 M that has numerous Klavierlack double-coat clear finish trimmings.
